Todd D. Davis is the principal author, editor, and publisher of the content on this website. An international consultant specializing in energy, water conservation, and risk management, Todd has extensive experience conducting technology and program cost-benefit analyses for corporate and government clients worldwide.

A seasoned world traveler, Todd has lived as an expatriate in Denmark and the United Arab Emirates, and has visited all 50 US states, seven Canadian provinces, and over 25 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His rich travel experience informs his writing, including three published books and six “smart calendars.” These calendars, themed around topics such as Space, UFOs, Carbon & Climate Change, Commercial Airplanes, Road Warrior Bible, and Airports, combine compelling visuals with insightful information and offer unique sponsorship opportunities for relevant organizations and businesses.

Todd is the author of Texas Water 101: Forging Resilience Through Innovation and Adaptation (Chester Springs Media Group), and Road Warrior Bible: Having a Life Worth Living on the Road, drawing on over 30 years of global travel. He has a strong interest in the etymology of American place names and themes relating to culture and geography.

Todd’s consulting work includes advising energy companies and governments around the world on climate change, carbon footprints, and energy efficiency. Notable roles include project director for DNV GL and Al Ain Distribution Company in the UAE—where he led the development of a five-year electricity and water conservation plan—and advisory work with organizations such as the National Weather Service, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Electric Power Research Institute, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and the European Union.

Currently, Todd conducts selected speaking engagements, workshops, consulting, and writing on topics including climate change, energy and water efficiency, voter education, political culture, and American lifestyle.
